Humanitaria: The IKEA of Humanitarian aid
More than 40% of the world's humanitarian aid budget is spent annually on equipment. This figure greatly reduces the capacities of NGOs, which cannot meet more than 50% of the world's aid requests. If we want to increase NGO resources, why not go straight to the root of the problem: cut as much as possible of the 40% that NGOs spend annually on essential equipment. To achieve this, Humanitaria presents its "low-cost humanitarian basics": new humanitarian equipment made of cardboard, 90% cheaper than any other current option. And designed from the ground up to improve the performance of NGOs in humanitarian emergencies by 99%. So that transporting hundreds of beds on an airplane, or assembling 500 beds in 15 minutes are for the very first-time resources available to those who save lives.
